About Me

I have been fortunate to have a career in the health and wellness field for over 25 years. My philosophy as an educator and coach is to meet people wherever they are in life and serve as guide in their process of behavior change.  In addition to my private coaching business, I currently work part time as a Health & Wellness Coach for a company called Mindful.  Finally, I am a professor within the Public Health Department at UVU

where I teach nutrition, stress management, body image, and health foundation courses.

As a Certified Nutritionist, Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, Intuitive Eating Counselor and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Facilitator, I love supporting others in their nutritional, physical and emotional wellbeing.  I take a holistic approach to health and assist each client in restoring balance and optimizing wellness.

I help clients manage chronic conditions, increase movement, improve eating patterns and incorporate effective sleep and stress management practices.  I have had a long history of my own health challenges that I have been able to learn from which include, Hashimoto's Disease (autoimmune condition), hypothyroidism, adrenal fatigue, hormone imbalances and histamine intolerance.  I have experienced first hand how lifestyle habits can heal and reverse chronic health issues.

In my work, I have found the deep fulfillment that comes when I can help others identify their “why”.  This step clarifies motivation and what habits are useful for long term behavior change.  My ultimate goal is to dig into ALL aspects of health and create a personalized path towards sustainable lifestyle changes.
